Questions about conditional greed card for child

My spouse got a two year conditional  marriage green card via I-485 adjust of status on in October, 2013, but my spouse son got a ten year green card via counsellar process in China when he landed in June 2014. It seems that my spouse son should also have got a two year conditional green card, not the ten year one. Was this a mistake made by USCIS? Do we need to contact USCUS about this? Any advices?
