請教863211老師或壇裏的熱心人，有關為綠卡父母辦回美證的問題：

1） 父母 （> 80歲）去年底移民來美國，年初拿到綠卡。現在準備回國一段時間（可能會超過1年），需要申請回美證（I-131）嗎？
-Yes. Need to get reentry permit (RP).

2） 如果要申請回美證，要多久會批下來？
-About 3 months, normally.

3） 查I-131的Filling fee，說是no fee with Biometric Services for > 80 yrs old. 這是不是說80歲以上的老人，不需按指紋？
-No fee, but need to do the biometrics collection for production the reentry permit document.

4） 我現在為父母 （> 80歲）申請回美證，他們可以不可以在11月前後用綠卡回中國，然後等回美證批準後再給他們郵寄回中國？還是一定要拿到回美證後才能回國（假如回國可能會超過1年）？
-They had better do the biometrics collection (i.e. fingerprinting, taking picture) in US, then can leave US. Then, you can mail the RP to them after the RP is approved.
