So your mean if they are lucky, their 485 can be approved, right?
-It is still possible if the USCIS officer does not realize your parents leaving. Otherwise, their I-485 will be denied because USCIS can consider your parents have abandoned their I-485 due to travel outside US without AP. If it is denied, you may just file I-824 for them to apply for the immigration visa in China, which may take about one year for the whole process.

I-824 filing means you request USCIS to send your approved I-130 to NVC to process for your father or mother to apply for the immigration visa in China by consulate processing. Need two I-824s, respectively for your father and mother.
