thank you so much for your reply, 863211, I have more problems, because my status in U.S. has been J2-H1-F1, which I assume increased the risk of being checked, what's the worst case, will it be denied in Shanghai?
-Don't think your status change in US will affect your F-1 visa application. 


(I have 5 months left of my OPT for by the time I go to shanghai US embassy but will have strong support from my employer)
