Another question: Does the 2 year rule require both parents (father and mother) live with child together for 2 years

OR one of the parents (father or mother) live with child together for 2 years 
-Yes if your name and your spouse's name are listed as the adoptive parents in the adoption document/certificate. The requirements for the immigration petition for your adopted child are:

1. Adoption occurs prior to the 16th birthday of the child;
2. Two years residence with the child;
3. Two years custody over the child by you; and
4. The adoption must be finalized.


    OR the total time of father and mother live with child more than 2 years.
    -No because only one of you who live with child for two years can sponsor the child green card.
