If you filed I-130 for your parents, respectively, your parents were qualified for I-485 filing (separately or together with I-130 filing filed I-485 together with your I-130) if they were physically in US at that time. It seems USCIS made mistake. You had better bring your parents to the local USCIS office to see what happened.
