3rd country visa, be careful

Got my 3rd country visa in Mexico last week. VO told me 3 Chinese student were deported from Mexico. Not sure if it is a total or from that city only. Reason is they didn't get F1 in the 1st interview and didn't have Mexico tourist visa, thus overstayed the 24 hrs limit in Mexico.
