Thanks a lot for the answer.

We are thinking about doing one of the two things:

1. use I-824 to convert it to consular process.
2. hire a lawyer to go with my parents for the interview if we continue the I-485 route and an interview is called.

We would great appriciate it if you can comment on these 2 approahes.
