請問８老師：持H１b的人能休Long Term Disability嗎？休Long Term Disability的人在公司係統裏的status是inactive的。

-You may take sick leave and long unpaid leaves and the H-1 rule allows you to do  that. Then, the insurance will cover your medicaltreatment fee and your living fee based on the long term dsability agreement/contract. The company can not fire you during the long term disability. But you can not quit your job, otherwise, your status will be a problem.
