My wife went back to china with me and her AP has no problem.
Can she use her EAD/AP and the I-94 to come back to US.
-Yes, she is fine to use EAD/AP combo card to reenter US. But she needs to submit her current I-94 to the airlines (by air) or to the CBP officer (by car,etc.) when she leaves US for Canada or China, etc. She will get a new I-94 (parolee I-94) at the port of entry when she comes back to US using AP.
