我有個朋友是加拿大綠卡，家住加拿大，持H1B在美國工作。

最近他換了雇主，上周回加拿大的美國領館換H1B簽證，可是過了一個禮拜了還沒有一點消息。

這個正常嗎？

-I think so.

 一般這個過程需要多久？

-If he was not informed he is subjected to background check (Administrative Processing), he should get the visa in about one week to ten days. May contact the US Consulate.
