本人computational chemist, NIW-140剛批，不知道啥時候能遞485。如果現在換一份
純programmer的工作，等到可以遞485了馬上找一份老本行的postdoc，這樣會對485審
批有影響嗎？

-As long as the two job duties are in the computer science area, your I-485 will be safe. It does not matter on the difference of the job title and the job duties.

Check your NIW I-140 to see what  the DOT or SOC code is in your I-140. If the DOT or SOC code is "15-1XXX" (XXX = any number from 0 to 9), then your job change to "programmer" will be fine to your I-485.

實在拿不準computational chemist背景的140作純programming會不會直接fail掉485, 
望有類似背景的過來人指教。
