幫一個朋友請問8老師和皮匠老師

My friend told me that her hu*****and will change his job and work in the new company this Friday. However, she is afraid that her hu*****and's old company may terminate his H1B status on Friday immediately, but his application for the new H1B will be not filed yet. So if this is true, the gap between two H1Bs will affect the application of green card later? Or usually the company will terminate H1B after a peroid of time? Thank you!
