夫人的H1B將於3月21日到期，所以我寧願自己出錢能趕在1月1日遞交485和EAD申請，以便在3/21日前收到夫人的EAD，這樣她可免於失業。

-A couple of months of illegal work does not affect her I-485.

  --她的單位HR盯著她的h1b截止日的....

-She may ask her company to file the H1 extension for her. Even if she files her I-485 on Jan.1, most likely she can nolt get the EAD on 3/21 because too many I-485 filings with EAD application in these days due to the PD cut-off date moving so fast. So, H1 extension is the best way for her to keep legal work.
