-PERM is labor certificate for I-140 filing (for green card).
我現在是opt，要轉到H1。2010年前，這裏的本專業博士後都能拿到H1，現在不行，其他專業的博士後現在還是可以拿到H1，他們最後拿到勞工部的都是level 1 wage，我們都是level 3 wage。
研究機構負責申請的人態度很差，就是老板都問不出來，他們一口咬定是勞工部規定的level 3 wage，但是看勞工部的文件，明顯我是符合level 1，其他專業的博士後都是level 1，他們都能拿到H1.這次我們是在上報前，他們通知我給我報的level 3，我們才知道這個情況，老板趕緊的要求改成level 1.
-For the H1 petition, you just need to find the prevail wage determination (PWD) in one minute from the website: www.flcdatacenter.com, and then file LCA online immediately. You do not need to apply for the PWD to DOL by mail because that will waste your time. If you have sent it out, just ignore it and then, get the PWD online and file LCA online as I suggest here. The level 1 is OK for you as long as the job code matches your title and duties.
