I am dependent of my wife's EB1a. So far our i485 has been submitted to TSC over 8 months. We tried SR and congressman, but still under initial review, no any progress. What should we do now?

  And i used EAD to work for a few months, but two months ago, i lost my job. Now i am still looking for a new job, my concern:

Is it ok for depedent to be unemployed when our case will be processed.

-Yes. Your I-485 is safe no matter whether you have job or not.

I want to get a new job ASAP, but it is so hard, can i apply other jobs which differ from my previous one with my EAD, will this affect our case? Thanks
