I have green card, my son has US passport and China travel document. I will visit my parents in China next week, please advise how to use travel document.

-For you: show your passport to the Chinese Customs to enter US and show your GC to get out of China and enter US.

For your child: show the China Travel document to enter China and get out of China, then show his US passport to the CBP officer to enter US.
