Teacher & Pjiang,How to count days of cruise?

Just had a 7-day Alaska cruise tour, it includes some ports of Alaska and two ports of Canada, are these 7 days treated as outside U.S?  I was told by the cruise member, once on boat, you are  on international territory or just count two days in Canada.

If count two days in Canada, both are less than 24 hours,but one left record, how to report?
