-Most of time USCIS just randomly assigns an A# to EAD or I-140, and that number is just effective for the EAD or I-140, and irrelevant to your green card/I-485. Did you have OPT EAD before? If so, you still can find an A# in the OPT EAD which has nothing to do with your I-485 or green card because you did not file I-485 at that time.
