Sorry, The one I sent before isn't clear. Here is my question.

My parents will have an interview for their green card application. I will ask my friend to be translator. I wonder is that OK? If the immigration officer ask the question like do we meet with our translator before or some similar questions, how should we reply? Thanks a lot!
