Thank you very much for replying my question today.

My question: My friend and his wife have their valid EADs based on I-485. Their kind is currently attending high school. What kind of document they should present for their kind at Chinese Consulate to prove his status in US while his old Chinese passport is being replaced. Is the kid's I-485 receipt notice sufficient?

Your answer: Can not give you suggestion unless we know what the parents' and the kid's current status.

Current status: parents - EB2/I-485 filed in July 2007/I-140 approved/PD: April 2007

               Kid - I-485 filed with parents in July 2007
