回複：拿到學位前不能辦h1b嗎？

請教幾位老師，學校助理教授職位，8月開始。學校指定的律師辦h1b.

律師說沒有Phd學位不能辦。可是我要夏天畢業（七月）。

-If the position requires PH.D. degree, you need to have the Ph.D. degree for the H1B filing or at least you finish all the Ph.D. requirements for the degree award and just wait for the graduate ceremony (get a verification from your Graduate School Dean in this case). I think you may just ask your Graduate Dean to give you a verification letter that you have finished your degreee plan/study and will get the Ph.D. degree in July, 2011, and then give this letter to the lawyer and that will be fine.

我記得以前的師兄師姐好像都是畢業前就拿到h1b了。
