我的一個朋友已經持有綠卡滿三年也整整在美國住了三年了，但是如果要申請入籍的話，要等到拿綠卡滿5年才可以申請。她的問題是如果她現在和美國公民男友結婚，

那她可以現在就提出公民入籍的申請嗎，還是要等到和這個公民男友結婚滿三年才可以申請呢？

-She has to marry the US citizen and maintain the marriage for at least 3 years to use this benefit. So, this nenefit is useless to her because she can apply for the US citizenship two years later (holding green card for 5 years).
