上次您說過我朋友第一次入境時會得到一個the green card stamp on the passport，然後移民局會寄綠卡來。有個問題是，不知他入境後在等待這個綠卡期間，可以先去加拿大，再回美國取綠卡？

還是必須等到收到那個綠卡後才能離開美國？

另外就是他入境時可以填申請SSN的表格嗎？
