我是公民，六月份為我母親申請了綠卡，她現在在美國，今年初B2入境，現在已經超過了六個月，也就是說簽證已經過期了。

今天我們收到了一封信，看得不明白，請明白的的朋友們指教

-Obviously this immigration officer is very inexperience. Your mother and you may visit the local office to see what they say and then, file the I-485. Or just ignore this letter (not need visit local ofice) and then, file the I-485 and justify that your mother is your immedaiet relative and her unlawyer presence should not affect her I-485 filing and approval (this rule is in the I-485 Instructions and print that page out and enclose it). Enclose this I-130 approval notice with her I-485 filing.
