Infopass was kind of mysterious to me at the beginning and then I found out it is really not a big deal for the people in the office. They rarely have visitors at least in my local office. When I made the appointment, my appointment is the only one of the next several weeks.  And if you go there, make sure ask about your secruity check of your green card.
