今年六月二十一日，開始在一家HR公司作contractor, 他們找到一個律師行開始辦H1B transfer.說隻要移民局收到申請，就可以合法開始工作。

也說一到兩個星期手續就可以辦完。上班三個月之後，律師說現在隻排到六月二日。

-Don't underestand what "現在隻排到六月二日" means.

 還說如果移民局deny this transfer，the status during that period becomes invalid.

其實六月十一日，移民局已經收到我的I485申請（這個是跟我太太的綠卡）我在八月二十一日收到EAD。律師說沒用，H1B transfer has to be approved to cover the period from 6/21 to 8/21 and it will influence the I485 application too if denied.

-Not true. Even if you worked illegally during that period of time, will your I-485 not be affetced based on 245 (k) because this period of time is less than 180 days. So, nothing needed to worry about.
