layoff! 急問-863211老師or pjiang老師

I was layoff yesterday. My wife is F1.

1)My perm is pending. The company told me that they will not withdraw that. If it is proved, I can use the priority date. Is that true? If I find another job, the new company will have to file a new PERM or use the old one and priority date? What if the new salary is lower than my old perm.
I do not have the case number, should I ask the company lawyer? He did not want to tell me the case number while I am working.
2)Should I transfer to F2 immediately? What if I find a job in two weeks?
3)If I find a new job, while my application of transferring to F2 is pending, how can I withdraw the F2 application and start a H1 application?
