From the information you provided earlier and from other sources, to adopt a child in china and bring it to the US through GC procedure will be very lengthy and difficult with my current status of being a GC holder.

I am thinking if I can bring the child to the US through a tourist Visa （Is it B-2?）

I am not sure if the child can attend middle or high school here with a tourist visa.

Also please advise can the tourist visa be changed to F-1 visa inside the US later?
