This is apparently not true, if LC invalidates itself after 180 days, the 140 filed/approved based on the LC will be invalid too. The LC only expires if no 140 is filed within 180 days. I guess I should rephrase my question this way:

Does USCIS stipulates that if 140 is withdrawn by the petitioner, does the underlying LC automatically becomes invalid?
