去Canada做返簽?

我來美十幾年了，因為各種原因沒回中國， 但做夢都想回去看父母。我是F2來美，經過H4, F1， 現在是H1。 我想去Canada做返簽, 不知是否可行? 簽到的機會大嗎?　什麽樣的情況會拒簽？如背景調查可回美等嗎?　回中國簽好還是去Canada好？看到一條消息：
Individuals who have ever been out of status in the U.S. because they overstayed their visa or their I-94 are not eligible to apply at a border post.
我的I-94都是按時換的，但我來時的visa是F2, 我能去Canada簽嗎？
