母親是公民，孩子13歲，是以政治庇護家屬身份去年進入美國的，他有社安號和綠卡號碼
但沒有綠卡，我想請問，孩子是否需要有了綠卡後才能成為公民，還是不需要有有了綠卡後就可變成公民。
-The kid needs to get the GC first. After getting the GC, the kid can automatically get the US citizenship through application for his/her US passport or filing N-600 application for the Certificate of Citizenship.
