Please help PJIANG & 863211

After my H1-B got approved in June, 2009, a previous petition for the OPT based EAD was approved which got into effective on July 1, 2009, two days after the effective date of my H1-B visa. People in the forum said that the later approved case can kick me out from my approved H1-B status.

Both of you said I am in F1 status now. But my H1-B lawyer said differently, could you comment. I can not 100% trust the lawyer. please see below:

The work permit approval did not interfere with your H-1B status, like a subsequent change of status to F-1 student would have. Don't worry about it.
