My I-140 has been approved and I-480 has been pending for 2 years.
When I applied for Green Card, I used the Software Developer title.
Now a new company will offer me a full-time position as Senior Software Engineer. Since I used Software Developer to apply for Green Card, this new company agrees to use Software Developer to apply H-1B and file AC21 letter for me. Do you think that it is the best option to use the same title “Software Developer” to apply my H-1B and file AC21 by compared with using “Senior Software Engineer”? I know that I can use “Senior Software Engineer” title, but I make the safest choice. Please let me know your suggestion.
-The job title difference does not matter. As long as your new job is in the same/simliar area as the old job, you are fine. So, I do not think you will have any problem to change the job.
