回複:why have to worry about employment status for uscis'
RFE? that means part time work cannot apply for green card? If part time researcher can 485, why worry about the employment status?
-All the employment based (EB1, EB2, EB3, etc.) primary green card applicants are required to be employed (or will be employed once gtteing GC) at a full-time, permanent job. You can file your I-485 when your PD is current even if you have no job, but USCIS will check your employment status before they approve your I-485. If you are unemployment or working at a part-time job when USCIS ask for your employment status (RFE), your I-485 may be denied. That is why you need to worry about that if you work at a part-time job.
