You answered my question and said my AP will still be valid for entry to US after I quit my job.

However, I am wondering if I quit job, does that mean I will lose my status??????????? Currently I am on 485 pending.
-Your status will be AOS as long as your I-485 is pending even if you lose your job. But you need to find a new job as soon as possilbe if you are the primary applicant in your green card application. If you are the dependent for the green card appilcation, you do not have to have a job.
