Nine years H1-B

It is a shame that I am still waiting for my GC after a long time in US.
But what can I do ?

EB-2 PD: 02/16/2006, I-140 was approved, I-485 pending, and EAD is until
August 2010.
H-1B will reach nine years Feb. 2010. My attorney is planning my H-1B extension.

My questions is:

(1) Am I still eligible for my H1-B extension?
(2) If Yes, for how long? 1 year or 3 years?
(3) If only one year, should I just renew my EAD for simplicity ? I don'tneed to pay attorney fee ( company does ) but need to prepare some documents copies for them.
