I am working on H1b and my 485 is pending. Recently I received an invitation from a company outside USA, asking me to be their consultant (part-time) for occasional consultation service. Please advise if I take this invitation/offer, will it affect my GC application in any way?
-I do not think this will affect your I-485 if this company is outside of U.S. and it has no any business in U.S. Actually, USCIS will never know you have this part-time job unless you tell them, right? Also there is no immigration law concerning this isssue.
