I have situations just like yours. My EB2-I485 in october 2007 and EB1b-I485 in April 2009. EB1b-I485 just got approved last week and got GC. I contacted Senator to inquire case processing and extended H1b and applied for AP, separately.Everytime when contacting USCIS, I will mention my EB1b-I485 as support evidences. These activities will boost USCIS to touch your cases.My lawyer did not suggest my interlinking two cases because both have independent I485 and interlinking might mess up two cases.
