9/31 H1B 有效期結束。 10/1 到新公司上班。 新公司在給我辦H1B, 給我說收到 receipt notice 就可以讓我上班， 把我放在 payroll 上了，沒有必要交 $1000 辦加急。是不是這樣，

考古了版上的帖子，好像 transfer 才可以這樣啊? 我是不是對新公司說 9/20 就開始, 就可以 transfer, 這樣收到 receipt notice 就工作比較保險一點？
-Your new employer can file the H1 transfer now or before your current h1 expires (at least 2 weeks in advance, in case) and put the start date on 9/31 or 10/1/, and then you can work on 10/1 for your new employer.
