Do you think my application of changing starus from TN to H1 would get easily approved if the TN is approved after Oct.1? How long would it take to cancel my mail renewal application?

Can I specify in the mail application that we only need to extend TN to 9/30/2009?

It's not easy for me to go to the border and I really want to save the trip.
