請小白兔, pjiang, 及各位大俠給出出主意---offer letter or verification letter?

I'm applying Eb1-B.I'm currently working in university as research associate. The official offer letter didn't specify it's a permanent job with no ending date. But the HR people said he can draft another job verification letter specifying that this is a permanent job and signed by our division chair. So which letter should I provide for my EB1-B application or both of them?
