make it very clear to ask to get your H1B stamp at the consulate where it locates the closest to your work place when your lawyer or you fill the I-129. I did this last year and the USCIS emails my H1B info. to the consulate at Mexico that I asked on the I-129 form. You don't need to get you H1b visa in china.
