Me too, just got GC approval. But my public

passport had been taken by Chinese consulate in NY since I tried to change into a new private passport last year. I know that based on my situation, the Chinese Consulate wouldnt so easily give it to me, it is very critical. Right now I dont have a passport with me, could you tell me what to do?
