H1B, EAD and Advance Parole?

I am in H1B status. I am planning to file the application for EAD and Advance Parole. I want to know if the applying Advance Parole or the using Advance Parole means that I switch from H1B status to EAD status at same time of (applying Advance Parole or using Advance Parole).

If somebody knows this matter, please let me know.
