I don't want to work by using EAD, since in that way, my wife and son will become out of status, both on H4, and I-485 not filed for them yet, they just come to usa not long ago. We just wait until my I-485 is approved, after that I will file I-485 for them.

Can I do just one time consulting with another university on weekends without using a EAD?
