Can do FP before asked?

Hi,

I received fingerprint notice yesterday, the scheduled day is Oct/15, 6 weeks from now.

6 weeks is too long, can I do FP early?
Does someone has this exprience before?
If it can, Do I need to make an appointment? and How?


BTW, I am EB2 I140/I485, FP center is in San Jose, California.
