I'm a EB2 GC applicant with a PD as 09/2006, and my I-485 RD is 07/2007 with a LUD 04/17/2009 without asking me any RFEs!
My current job title is "Research Associate" in the health science field in a university. The minimum requirement is MD, or PhD. Salary is around 45K. However, I'm going to get laid off on June 30th because of lacking of funding. There is one job I might take in a different university, with a salary around 50K. But the job title is "Research Assistant III (senior level)" also in the health science field, and its minimum requirement is master's. It seems like a lower classification job comparing to my current one, which I applied for GC under the EB2. Does this new job fit into the "Same or Similar" job classification or job field? Can I take the new job?
Thank you so much for whoever can give a current answer!!!
No matter what, I really appreciate Pjiang! Your articles have given me so much HELP!!!

If what you applied is NIW, it should be no problem.
