回複：緊急求救：申請公民這8個月能算嗎？

004/07 入境拿到綠卡，然後離境8個月，回來3星期，又離境4個月，從2005/08 到現在一直在美國。從拿到綠卡到現在有差不多5年了。現在想申請公民。

有人說這8個月不算，

有人說這8個月算，但需要“that you (and your family) continued to live, work and/or keep ties to the United States”。
我父母是公民，一直在美國，這可以算是一條嗎？還有什麽好建議？
