it true ONLY 30 days to find a new job to continue H1B?
-Technically, it is zero day. Once his company reports that he is laid off to USCIS, your hu*****and is out of status. My suggestion is that he may file an application of changing his status to F2 to get some time for looking for job. Once he find a new job, he can change his F2 status to H1.
